This folding rangefinder camera, the Super Ikonta, was made by Zeiss in 1937. Its leather bellows and shutter tripped by hand look almost Victorian in design.
Yet as the photos following show, it is still capable of amazing results.
The following images were scanned straight from 6cm by 9cm negatives taken by this camera. They haven’t been subjected to any form of Photoshop manipulation. The image quality is due entirely to the superb Zeiss Tessar 105mm f4.5 lens.
